The Kofi Annan Peace and Security (KAPS) Forum, established by the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre in 2019, aims to enhance Africa's peace and security capabilities. It honors Kofi Annan's legacy by fostering dialogue and collaboration among African governments, regional organizations, and civil society to prevent conflicts, manage crises, and promote post-conflict reconstruction. The Forum serves as a platform for political leaders, diplomats, academics, and practitioners to promote peace, cooperation, and resilience for a prosperous Africa.
The Challenge
Designing a website for KAPS FORUM presented several challenges. First and foremost, it had effectively communicate the company's mission and serve as a dynamic platform for policymakers and stakeholders to engage in discussions about peace and security issues in Africa. Additionally, the website should facilitate easy event registration and provide timely updates on forum activities. It is also essential to prioritize user engagement, inclusivity, and robust security measures for sensitive discussions. Lastly, the website needed to be intuitive and accessible to a diverse audience with varying levels of technological proficiency. Achieving a cohesive and user-friendly experience while balancing all these elements poses a significant challenge.
The Approach
